Rustic Barn Salvage HQ Update

WOW, We have had such a busy past few months and we have so much to tell all of you. First things is….. WE HAVE LIGHT! We finally had the electric installed in our barn and it makes the world of a difference. We also have been working non stop getting our Barn ready so that we can open up for people to come shop more often. We have honestly worked so much we are exhausted but it’s all worth it once you see the progress that we have made. We have put up some walls, added some reclaimed wood and went to Michigan to pick up these gorgeous antique 12 foot old counters .

These counters have so much meaning to me. My Uncle Terry and Aunt Connie have an annual garage sale every year and they were the reason I became so in love with antiques. They have always had the most unique things that seemed to inspire me so much I felt it in my soul. They always Have the best sales with cars lining up the entire street with people. It’s has been a family tradition to go to there sale every year and get to hang out with the family and go picking. Since we have built our barn, I have dreamed about finding antique general store counters. When I got the call that my uncle was selling these beauties I literally was jumping up and down with excitement. So not only do I get these dreamy store counters, I also get the ones that my Aunt and Uncle had in there barn for all these years. To me that makes them so much more special then I could have ever found with any other counters. Staying in our family for all these years… and continuing our love for all things antiques and cool rusty stuff .

We are planning to open up the barn to shop at least once a month and also by appointment. We want to keep growing our business and finding more and more stuff to fill up our barn.

We haven’t even had our barn a year yet and have gotten so much done to it a,ready. It’s so exciting to keep working at making it All come together.
